  Like any government owned business where there isn't competition, they have no incentive to be helpful or accommodating. Make sure you don't try and talk to them while they're on the phone or they will make you suffer and give you a death glare for the rest of the time you're there. Also don't try calling because they don't answer their phone (or have only one line that is constantly in use), and they don't take messages.

  I called in to get my vehicle tabs mailed to me. They answered in 30 seconds and got them mailed out to me no hassle. Compared to when I lived in Philly and Seattle this was a dream.

  The blonde gal that sits in the middle as you are coming in is absolutely the rudest, nastiest person I have ever dealt with. She has been this way on more than one occasion so I know I wasn't just catching her on a "bad day". If you can, pay tabs by mail or online as to avoid this heinous, nasty witch!

  I have had many dealings with the staff and have always found them to be professional and helpful. They have been very good at helping me to work through the paper work issues that always seem to come up when buying and selling vehicles. The wait is usually no longer than 10-15 minutes. While I never look forward to having to deal with this or any other DMV, I have found that Walla Walla vehicle licensing is relatively stress free thanks to the staff.
